Larksfoot scarf

This is a free crochet pattern for a scarf, adapted from bynumber19.

The Larksfoot stitch is a very common crochet stitch pattern. I found it in one of my stitch guide books and decided to make a scarf with it. The scarf is crocheted with 2 different yarn types: A tweed yarn and a mohair yarn. The more rigid tweed makes the pattern stay in place and the mohair yarn gives the scarf a very comfy and soft appearance.

Materials

Yarn 2 skeins Rowan, Rowan Tweed, 100 % wool, 50g – 118 m/129 yards, black: Shade #595 Pendle.

2 skeins Grignasco, Kid Silk Five, 75% super kid mohair, 25% silk, 25g – 125 m/137 yards, red: Shade #721 Plum.

Yardage 300 m – 328 yards. (The scarf is long, so you might want to make it shorter).

Hook 4 mm US: 6/G

Tapestry needle
